Field Description
Index Specifies an integer in the range 1 to 256 that uniquely
identifies the link within the linkset.
To change the index value of an existing link, see
“Reordering links using the SREM” on page 453.
Link Text Specifies text to display as the clickable link text on the
portal Home tab.
Text can be an ordinary string or HTML code. The client
sees only the link text, not the URL contained in the link.
HREF Displays the full path for the external link. You cannot edit
this field directly. Change the value displayed in this field by
updating values in the Protocol, Host, and Path fields.
Protocol Specifies the protocol used for this link. Available options
are:
• https
• http
Host Specifies the host for this link. This field can contain either
an IP address or a domain name for the host being used.
Path Specifies the path on the web server. You must specify a
path. A single slash (/) indicates the web server document
root.
