Access from the serial port menu

You can access the CLI through the Serial Port menu if you have a serial port

connection to the switch. Select L from the Serial Port menu, shown below, to

access the CLI.

Command modes

The switch CLI has three command modes.

• User Exec Mode

• Privileged Exec Mode

• Global Configuration Mode
